includes all mammals which occur in Paraguay and are rated as Critically
Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN) or Vulnerable (VU) in the 2004 IUCN Red List of Threatened Animals.

- Giant Armadillo (Priodontes maximus).
- Giant Otter (Pteronura brasiliensis).
